TRAVEL,
STAY, EAT:

We are thrilled to have you join us for this special occasion. San Miguel de Allende is filled with charming places to explore. Below we've included our best recommendations for where to stay, where to eat and what to do.

Once You're There

What is the easiest way to get to SMA?

Booking Your Flights

San Miguel de Allende is located in the beautiful Central Mexican Highlands. Although it does not have an airport of its own, it has two modern airports each about 80-90 minutes away —Queretaro International Airport (QRO) and Guanajuato (Leon/Bajio) International Airport (BJX). The Bride and Groom have flown into and out of both and favor QRO due to its proximity to major highways and non-winding roads to San Miguel. QRO and BJX are serviced from major U.S. airline hub cities.

A third option is to fly into Mexico City International Airport (MEX) and drive to San Miguel which is about a 3.5-hour drive. (Or fly!)

Flight recommendations from the Captain, Banks: CLICK HERE

To get from any of the two airports to San Miguel, we recommend booking a private driver in advance.

Our most-used and reliable service is BajioGo Shuttle.

To reserve your ride, simply email: bajiogoshuttle@gmail.com

Include: your flight details (arrival time/date and airport), number of passengers, and your hotel or Airbnb address. They’re extremely quick to respond and will help make your arrival as smooth as possible!

Where to Stay

Within San Miguel there are many options for hotels and Airbnb's of all sizes. If you go with an Airbnb, the Bride and Groom highly recommend you pick a stay within Zona Centro
(see map below).

In addition to checking Airbnb.com, the Bride and Groom recommend searching for stays via Luxury Rental Management.
